| Thallus off-white. Ascomata conspicuous, dark brown, numerous, scattered or crowded, sessile, with a conspicuous thalline margin, straight, curved or sinuous, sometimes repeatedly branched, 1–4 (–6) mm long, 0.15–0.25 mm wide; lips closed. Disc pale brown to brown.Proper exciple pale yellowish brown, poorly defined. Hymenium 120–150 µm thick. Ascospores 8 per ascus, pale brown, 6–8 × 2–3-locular, 25–35 × 8–10 µm. CHEMISTRY: Stictic acid. |
